Follow-up Comment #1:
Your project is using extremely old grub sources, looks like 1.98 or even
earlier. Code has changed significantly since then. If you can reproduce it
with current git master, feel free to reopen. But otherwise we are not able
either to trace it or verify that it is actually fixed.
