Summary: if "root" is on "(tftp)" ls wont work Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: tps800 Submitted on: Thu 09 Aug 2018 02:59:19 PM UTC Category: None Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Release: 2.02 Reproducibility: None Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: if "root" is on "(tftp)", ls wont work. Boot grub2 from network. Then "c" for a commandline. echo ${prefix} -> (tftp,172.18.8.1)grub ls ${prefix} -> wont produce any output. I've awaited to find something like: -> bgrnd -> chbg.cfg -> chlg.cfg -> fonts -> grub.cfg -> i386-pc -> locale or, if tftp where not capable of directory listings an error message like: -> Impossible And a set return code to have it not fail silently. If used in grub scripts. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?54481> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
