Details:
The splash screen in the boot process shows for all but the top choice where
the root will be searched for (disk partition name) and the type of OS.
The top (default) does not include this information; therefore it is difficult
to know for certain what will be booted - and often I am surprised after the
boot process when I check where root is mounted that it is not what I
expected.
Simple solution: just add the same information as for the other options when
installing GRUB.
I am a user of GRUB (and appreciate the difficulties to build and maintain) -
thank you for the work and excuse if I am not using the expected terminology.
my version is 2.02~beta3-5+deb9u1 (debian stretch)
