Hi there,

I've been trying to boot one of my systems for over 6 months now. I've been
through your documentation and a couple of tutorials online. I'm still as
confused as when I started last year.

The documentation just leaves me with anxiety and hopelessness. The whole
thing looks like spaghetti code and it's hard to look at it without being
traumatized. Short of trying to randomly flip 1s and 0s for the rest of the
life of the universe in hopes that it may randomly achieve a configuration
that works, it seems like an impossible task to boot the drive.

A bootloader should not require a lifetime of studying and a degree in
computer science, along with a decade of psychotherapy, meditation to keep
calm, the patience of a monk, prayers and sacrifices.

Please go back to the drawing board and recreate grub all over again, and
get some folks to work on proper documentation and tutorials, instead of
people who have such over bloated egos and are so conceited that they write
paragraphs gloating over how important and easy the program and
documentation or tutorials are.

An uneducated hobbyist who was just trying to compute for fun before
getting sucked into the nightmare vortex of grub,
Abby
