Hey all,

I'm using garuda linux on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th.
After today's upgrade of grub (2:2.12.r292.g73d1c959-1 ->
2:2.12.r359.g19c698d12-1) after reboot i cant see grub anymore.
I had to go back to chroot and do this command to have it back : pacman -U
https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/g/grub/grub-2%3A2.12.r292.g73d1c959-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi
--bootloader-id=garuda --recheck

After reboot, i can access to grub normally.
I had to put grub to ignorepkg to do the other upgrades.

Here you can find the entire discussion on garuda-linux forum :
https://forum.garudalinux.org/t/grub-update-broke-normal-laptop-boot/45853/5

Are you aware of this problem ?
Can it be fixed with a new version of grub ?

I'm sorry i'm not a specialist...
Just waiting for your response.

Best regards.

Jacques Disner
