gsl histogram

Hello
I would like to use gsl histogram for my program. but I do not know how I can 
run a program c++ by gsl?
For run I have to write an especial command?
Please guide me how do I run my program?
Is it enough to werite my terminal below command?
g++ hadron.cpp -o my exe
