Commit 1a8b783 fixes a bug whereby ‘guix build’ would solicit the substituter even when --no-substitutes is passed, just to know what’s substitutable (it would not try to download these, too.) Let’s see if this solves the problem you reported (and Cyril too, on IRC.) Thanks, Ludo’.
