Those two issues are linked... The mke2fs test failure happens on all versions after 11: 12, 13 & even the recent 14.
I tried the coreutils-with-xattrs that was suggested a while back, but unsuccessfully. Anyone had a chat with upstream about that failure ? -- Vincent Legoll
