Thank you Sharlatan and Nicolas!! You two really lead this effort. You
each have more than twice as much commits as the rest combined!! Every
commit counts though.
We must have fixed/updated more than that number of packages though;
because most of those 561 commits touch a single package. Python has
about 7000 dependents, that means 7.5% of them broke (or at least needed
attention) when switching to Python 3.12.
And this is not even counting the many commits that went directly to
master but were triggered by the Python 3.12 change.
Should we make a NEWS item?
