Hi,
I've got the following improvement suggestions as bug report against the
Debian package:
| From: Toby Speight T.M.Speight.90 at cantab.net
|
| A user got the following message following an update to gv:
|
| /--------
| | gv Error: incompatible resources.
| | One of the files
| | /usr/share/gv/gv_system.ad
| | /usr/users/[username]/.gv
| | belongs to an older version of gv and can not be used.
| | Please remove or update the outdated file.
| | Quite probable your ~/.gv is too old.
| | Running gv-update-userconfig should help
| | by removing all incomatible resources.
| \--------
|
| Whilst the recommended action was effective :-), the error message
| could do with a little tweaking:
|
| s/can not/cannot/
| s/probable/probably/
| s/incomatible/incompatible/
Hochachtungsvoll,
Bernhard R. Link
P.S: What about a 3.6.5.90 pre-release? There were quite some improvements
lately and making that available to a little bigger audience for testing
would be nice.
