Hi, it looks like there is bug in gv-3.7.1 related to viewing eps files.
Every time the image is refreshed (reloaded) two new file handles (pipes) are opened. Depending on the 'ulimit -n' setting gv is terminated when the number of open files grows too big. When displaying ps files this problem does not occur. Best, Daan
