I read it again. It says "Zip created by pigz[1] is deemed to be corrupted …”, but nowhere in there do you say what exactly is doing the deeming. All I had to go on was the link to the 7-Zip issue. So I asked if this was intended as a report of a pigz bug. Problem is, potentially, in gzip, which does not recognise fringe, rarely used, format. Now I see that you meant to say that it is deemed to be corrupted by gzip. That was left out before.
