Side lining a bit. Do you think hello package should be accompanied with bash completion example? I cannot see any harm with that, although I cannot remember any GNU package that would have completions with them. To be safe side if the completions are added the comments should tell scripts to be more an example than expectation. Assuming the add scenario, completion should display long-only options.
