Hello.

I had asked this before, but I’m asking again because it’s really very
important. How is it possible that at the end of last year, from one
day to the next, the two best web browsers available on GNU/Hurd, Luakit
and Surf, which are very similar and based on the same scripting
language, Lua, went from working very satisfactorily to instantly
terminating when launched, with the brief output ‘abort’?. Is it
possible to investigate why this happened?.

In the absence of the classic browsers (Firefox, etc.) the truth is I
had a very fast learning curve with these browsers, and they worked
well for almost everything.

I kindly ask the responsible maintainers to review it, please. And if
any change has been made that has irreversibly made it impossible
to use these browsers in our system, please state so for the users’
awareness.

Thanks very much, in advance.

Regards.
Jose Luis.
