This is the standard boot approach for arm64 EFI, I am planning to implement uncompressed CPIO into a the kernel via memory map, getting each entry and starting a hurd userland, this is just a initial draft idea, but as discussed on RFC PATCH 03/18 I will revert the removal of ramdisk on v2. When I get to Implement the CPIO we can discuss which approach makes more sense.
