Ah well, it does actually put tabs there, just not in a way I
expected, but that is probably with intense.

Sorry everything is ok (besides I don't understand how indent uses
tabs).

Hi,

I have the indent 2.2.9 (from debian if that matters).

that with the tabs and spaces does not really work.

indent -ut file  

does not set the tabs.

indent -kr file

sometimes leaves some tabs, sometimes spaces to indent, even
so the original hat not tabs at all.
