A patch against CVS is not yet possible since the directory is not yet added. Look inside the route sub-directory for the code. Support for the FreeBSD kernel is in the works, and I would like your comments regarding how to select the appropriate backend for a particular operating system. I have put in a small check in configure.ac but it might not be the best way to do it.
