Distributions still ship rsh. The better question to ask is do _we_ have the bandwidth to maintain all the utilities? Or do we want to focus on a subset until we get more hackers to take care of the ones we are unable to maintain. What subset would this be? Seeing that the protocols for these utilities are stable, there is not alot to maintain.
