As I have written now several times before, _you_ need to update it by updating you copy of the repository: cd inetutils git pull Please take some effort in examining the problem yourself instead of assuming that I have time to solve it for you. You have a normal git repository as you would get after ./bootstrap, and you can use the normal git commands to manipulate it and update it.
