Hello there!

I have been disturbed by warnings produced by makeinfo-5.2
while building our texinfo product. Now I understand that
they are due to ordering the chapters in the source file
with a very loose correlation with the ordering expressed
in the directory sections. At least I it seems more likely
than blaming the main menu ordering.

Since a correction to this state of affairs would mean major
chunks being blamed on me in 'doc/inetutils.texi', I am some-
what reluctant to implement the change based only on my own
judgement. The effect of the present state of matters is
easily observed in the ridiculous ordering a postscript
rendered text, or oven plaintext output, displays in the
'Short Contents' and 'Table of Contents', respectively.
The info text itself does not mind at all, in spite of the
numerous warnings.

So, Alfred, what are we to do about this "mess"? Two commits
of mine, pushed today, have improved the typesetting and self-
consistency of chapters, but the contents' lists remain.

Best regards,
  Mats E A
