inetutils 1.9.4 ships with a man page for ifconfig, which amoung other things says:
"The full documentation for ifconfig is maintained as a Texinfo
manual."
But it would appear to be untrue. There is no mention of ifconfig in
doc/inetutils.texi
That is an artifact from help2man :-(
