Request an enhancement about ping: easier parsing

Hello (again).
I am currently developping for my studies a script to monitor network
which requires the values given by ping and I was wondering why isn't
there an option on ping to give the values (latencies, percentage loss,
avg, etc) without requiring to parse because I find it quite ugly to parse.
I think it would be interesting to implement it.
