Thank you for your help with this. I can build the inetutils 2.0 on Guix's core-updates branch. That failing test was just because Guix master provides the 1.9.4 version of inetutils. I have a bug report open about this on the Guix bug mailing list. I will ask there if Guix's master branch can provide inetutils 2.0.
