The NixOS build fails because of too old Automake:
I don't know how to modify the NixOS build rules -- if you have time to
engage with the NixOS people, it would be nice if they can make this
compile again. Otherwise, let's just drop that part from
README-release.
I have sent a patch to hydra-users, though the email has not yet
made it to the list. Let's how that plays out. ;-)
