Hello everyone! One kind guy from #librejs suggested to me to partecipate in this mailing list and present myself.
I'm Valerio and I'm a freelance web developer. I've hitted a banner from the FSF website where LibreJS was looking for new LibreJS contributors. I love GNU/Linux and free as in freedom software and I love when I'm involved in many local and international Free software communities. Regarding the web, I use to navigate using a cute combination of NoScript + uBlock + self destructing cookies in a Firefox flavour, and I'm satisfied. NoScript blocks as default all JavaScript; uBlock blocks as default all spam, useful when trying to separate spam and ham in nasty websites unworking without JavaScript and full of third party resources; and self-destructing cookies... you know. I understand the difference between privacy and freedom, so I understand that we cannot elevate LibreJS to a freedom+privacy fighter, but it does not mean that it's message to the world should't be spreaded. I never tried the LibreJS extension but I really appreciate the message that you are trying to send to the world. I first want to know how to implement the LibreJS pratices in my websites, and where I can give an help. Thank you for you patience. What do you suggest to start from? Thank you dears! P.S. Do you know the online W3C validator? In my dreams one day it will exist a cute "LibreJS validator" giving a score to websites in terms of users' freedom. If you want, I can also give an hand in this direction (e.g. I think I can stub a POC in PHP). What do you think about it? -- Valerio Bozzolan https://boz.reyboz.it#please-warn-me E-mail sent from an happy Android device without proprietary Google Apps. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
