Incidentally, the way to always get the stems down in tab is apparently
reversed as well now:
\property Staff.Stem \override #'direction = #-1
instead of (what the doc still says):
\property Staff.Stem \override #'direction = #1

\TabStaffContext
\consists Rest_engraver
}
}
