Downloaded the Lilypond version for Win XP, double clicked the test.ly program, Acrobat automatically opened, and rejected the file. Wouldn't open it. Message is that it either isn't supported or it has been corrupted.
Also there are no icons on the desktop, and the only item on the Start Menu is Cygwin Bash Shell. Is this normal? There is a C:\cygwin folder with lots of subfolders in it, so it seems to have unloaded onto my drive. Can you help? Thanks Robert (not Pauline - just using her email.
