Hi, I think that the following, \notes <<b2 \\ b8.>> is not typeset as a human would do it.
I don't know about typesetting standards, but instead of | *o. | shouldn't either | o*. | or | *.o | be a better choice? There should be a difference between b2\\b8. and b2.\\b8.. Erik
