Thanks, Werner, for this information; I've simply changed the symlink
/usr/bin/python to point to python2.2 instead of python2.1, and this
seems to have solved most of the problems: that is, the output
appears and needs a little tweaking by hand, but not much. For
example, I had to change
s2^#'(Large "Con Moto e Expressivo" r2) |
to
s2^\markup { \large { Con Moto e Expressivo } } r2 |
