For future bug reports, please include a short example .ly file that
illustrates the problem (maybe you did as an attachment, but this
mailing list filters aways all attachments to reduce the problem with
virus emails).

However, I guess that this is already a well-known bug, see the
example "c-notehead-dot.ly" in http://lilypond.org/bugs/v2.6/
(which seems to be the latest on-line version of the collection of
bug reports).
