can you check with top which of the resources are the problem? is it
memory, # of processes?
If you refer to the Scheme level top level, you will have to tell me
what to do, because it was a long time ago I programmed in Scheme, and
I do not know hoe it is embedded in LilyPond. Otherwise, I have
switched to 2.7.4-1.
I'm referring to Unix resource limits.
