Are you sure you don't want \bar "||:" ? The "|." bar should normally only
exist at the end of a piece, in that case you may want to have the next line
in its own \score block.
(unfortunately, there is no "|.|:" barline), so if you really need it,
you'll
probably need some deeper trickery.
