Most output works fine for lilypond, however, when I try entering text, I get this strange result. Here is an example: The Text: This text is in Vera Bold The Output: s s r I believe this stems from Lilypond incorrectly selecting the special fonts for music symbols to be used for actual text. Since most glyphs are not defined, there are loads of empty spaces, and the ones that are defined are in really small font. Unfortunantely, nothing seems to change this font: I have tried manually overriding the font using the instructions given here: <http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.6/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond/Font-selection.html#Font-selection> This is what I tried: ==.ly fragment== { c'1_\markup { \override #'(font-name . "Times New Roman") { This text is in Vera Bold } } } == I will be attempting a reinstall fairly soon, and perhaps maybe even try the development version and see if that resolves my problem. However, if anyone has insight into the cause of this problem, I would be very grateful.
