We still don't know any rules for how this should be done: Since the fa notehead isn't symmetric, there are two ways of writing a merged fa notehead: | _| |\| | | and | _| |/ | | To me, it's not obvious which version that should be used in which case. Also, I know nothing about shaped noteheads, so I don't know anything about common practise. Do you have any references on how merged shaped fa noteheads "should" look?
