Well, I have an old SuSE Linux distribution (9.1), and compilation of
the CVS version of lilypond works just fine after compiling and
installing the following packages.
guile-1.6.7.tar.gz
glib-2.9.4.tar.gz
pango-1.11.2.tar.gz
