Issue 253: 2.11.13 bus error

Downloading and testing each build in sequence (starting at 2.11.7 and going
forward)
reveals that the bus error first showed up in 2.11.10; ie, 2.11.7, .8 and .9
are all
fine but .10, .11, .12 and .13 all exhibit the error. (The issue should
probably be
titled 2.11.10 bus error instead of 2.11.13 bus error.)

I still need to reduce the full score to a minimal example. (I suspect the
error has
something to do with the way I'm using skips or afterGraces to approximate the
control of spanner endpoints; this may all go away when the new controls enter
the
spanner interfaces.)
