ps2pdf is calling GPL Ghostscript SVN PRE-RELEASE 8.56 (2006-05-20).
Mats: that's the version in lilypond. fink contains 8.54 right now.
Brett: do you have anything in ~/.fonts ? Do you have a ~/.fontconfig
or ~/.fonts.cache-1 ? I'm not certain if any of these are good or bad
to have; I'm just trying to find any difference between your system and
mine.
