On MacOSX 10.4.9, Lilypond 2.10.20, the
following fails to produce what OS X or
NeoOffice (OpenOffice) thinks is a valid EPS:
============
\include "lilypond-book-preamble.ly"
{
\new ChordNames \chordmode { c1 }
}
============
It will produce a valid PNG
Other lilypond score files without
ChordNames will produce a valid EPS.
Here is the compilation command used:
For EPS:
lilypond -b eps -feps test.ly > test.eps
For PNG:
lilypond -b eps -fpng -dresolution=300 test.ly > test.png
NOTE: this problem was originally discovered
with the OOoLilyPond macro in NeoOffice.
The image that NeoOffice would display from
the generated EPS would simply contain the
Title: and Creator: fields of the EPS.
