Making a tuplet bracket follow a kneed beam by default is more trouble than it's worth (see the recent thread "Collisions in tuplet beams across staffs" on lilypond-user). Joe
The snippet shown in the regression tests and in the regression tests results shows a fragment under the bottom staff (see below), or at least does so on my system.
