Doing overrides on individual ties is not supported like this, exactly
because there
is no way to select them. Try \tweak,
\new Voice <<
{ <c''-\tweak #'direction #-1 -~> c'' }
{ <e'-\tweak #'direction #1 -~> e' }
(changing status so someone will update lsr/the manual.)
