One other question in response to Bert's comment #7.
Since it looks like Windows encodes filenames in Cp1250, should the URIs
also be
encoded in Cp1250 (for Windows)?
Or if we encode the URIs in UTF-8, can Windows interpret them correctly?
You
probably don't have to worry about this for LilyPondTool, but what about
for native
Windows apps?
