Neil, I remember when you added ":|.:" (I requested it: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2008-09/msg00012.html). But I don't remember (and can't find) the discussion about a scheme interface for this. Also, do you really think we have too many obsolete barline styles? I guess I disagree; some users will want to use them, and it's not like they're burdening the source in any way. Also, I think it's easier for users to look up the appropriate \bar string in the NR than to make them do extra scheme work. >> I'm not a programmer but doesn't adding these lines to >> "[lilypond.git] / lily / bar-line.cc" solve the issue : >> [...] >> to be inserted after line 182? > > Yes. I'd be fine with this addition. The only reason I didn't propose it initially was because (if I'm remembering right) I *only* found it in the Brahms scores, so I assumed that the old standard was ":|.:", and the Brahms typesetters just thought it was the other way around... - Mark _______________________________________________ bug-lilypond mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond
