More notes:
I have not discovered the root cause yet, but the incorrectly flipped slur
(after the
line break) is a result of dir_ being assigned the direction "DOWN" instead
of "UP".
This happens at lily/slur-scoring.cc:218.
dir_ is assigned the correct value of "UP" if I apply Neil's patch.
