The snippets in question work on a clean build from 2.13.29.
I think that sometimes the build system doesn't update files properly. I
think that the musicxml snippets were unchanged, so the output snippets
weren't regenerated, so the old snippets with beatLength were run in the
regtests.
At any rate, I've run musicxml2ly on the xml test snippets manually, and
they process without error. And I've run make check successfully -- no
failure on the snippets coming from those regtests.
So I think the issue is invalid.
