Greetings Pierre, Sorry to dig up this old report, but I've just realized that other users have been affected by the very same problem and couldn't run LilyPond on Mac OSX "Panther" either: http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1295 Hopefully this problem will be sorted out soon, now that we've spotted it.
