A few French users have requested that we provide md5sums for all the
binary files we offer for download.
Having experienced download problems with our linuxaudio mirror myself, I
must say it would be an improvement; I'm not sure, however, where it should
appear not how to implement it.
FWIW, a contibrutor on -fr has submitted a script that automatically
browses a given directory and gets md5sums for all files therein:
