I'm aware this is virtually the same patch, but it translated into more
acceptable LilyPond syntax.
I didn't do it before because I misread Neil's comment as saying he knew
where to work on it and he was going to.
When I reread the comment, it appeared to me that he *didn't* have a patch
in mind, so I went ahead with posting this possible patch, as part of the
volleyball game.
I was, however, still looking for other opportunities to do it better.
