Also the beaming in the example

(bass staff, bar 29)
may not be what you wish to include in an example of what lilypond
can do.
The beaming in 2.13.60 was definitely broken. For an
even worse example see the last one in
http://www.lilypond.org/doc/v2.13/Documentation/essay/engraved-examples-_0028bwv-861_0029
However, this bug is fixed in the next release. Hopefully
this will be released soon.
One or two quibbles with the language on this page:
I'll fix the typos.
