Looking at the email history you linked to, I think Mats missed your point
that under the old behavior, two flutes playing the same note sometimes
resulted in silence. I do not think anyone desires that behavior!
Nevertheless, I'll try within the next couple days to add on to your patch
a new property (alongside midiInstrument, midiMinimumVolume, etc.) that
would allow users to choose the old behavior.
