http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1666 From Federico Bruni: It's not a LilyPond issue (a bug), just a doc issue which can be fixed immediately. You can see in the diff file (now I've placed the git version first and my edits after, which makes more sense). In the artificial harmonics section, the harmonics are too high. If I put my finger on 4th fret of 3rd string and I pluck the 17th fret, then the sounding pitch is b' (one octave higher, not two). This is the same for the two following notes. In the pinched harmonics section, there's a wrong note. If I play the harmonic on 5th fret of 4th string I hear a d'', not a g'. And so on. I think it's pretty clear, but I might be missing something. So we just need a guitar player, or someone who knows something about physics (this is definitely not me), to confirm it.
